GOLF March 29
As we all look forward to being able to play golf once more from Monday 29th March, unfortunately we just have to remind everybody of the restrictions and measures that will still be in place.
We have confirmed the measures with England Golf and City of York Council.
From Monday 29th March we can play Golf subject to the rule of 6 (no not 6 balls!), but you could have 4 balls and 2 caddies.
Social distancing rules still apply.
Steve can continue to supply food but only on a takeaway basis and not for consumption in the club house. The clubhouse and shop will remain closed. However there will be access to the toilets and to the locker rooms and trolley store between 8am-6pm, but only for the collection and return of equipment. Under no circumstances are they to be used for changing purposes.
From 12th April, subject to Government confirmation, we will be able to have outside table service only for beverages and food, the shop, Locker and changing rooms will be open daily. Rule of 6 will apply.
From a playing point of view, ride on buggies will not be allowed and personal playing mats will be OPTIONAL, with clean and place in operation until further notice. Until the shop opens there is no access to systems to register a card for handicap purposes it will be social golf only until at least the 12th April.
Posters have been displayed around the club to give you more detailed information
Lets enjoy our return to Golf, but safely. Please see the attached poster from England Golf.
